Art Workshops In KL And Selangor: For Every Hobbyist

0

I don’t know about you but I am an extreme hobbyist. You name it. From making your own soap workshops to all women carpentry spaces, I have been to all. Art workshops are my jam and my muse.

Art is so versatile that it comes in different forms. You can indulge in pottery, fabric, fashion, poetry, gardening, embroidery,  macrame, and even flowers. Learning it all may not be possible but art workshops certainly provide the opportunity to get your hands on as many as you can.

I have met fellow hobbyists like me in so many corners of KL. It is amazing how there are so many of us, yet there are not enough creative spaces in Malaysia to satisfy us.  Even though most of the pop-ups and creative spaces are incredibly lowkey, there are so many to keep an eye out for! I mean the list of spaces for hobbyists like me is endless.

Every time I mindlessly scroll around the mall or do a little bus hopping, I am met with a choice of space for my inner creativity. There could be a one-day pottery class in the mall, or a jewelry class down the street, sometimes even a poetry writing session. The choices can get a bit innovative and very intriguing.  Truly, Malaysian arts and crafts have no plans to bore us.

Of course, when the pandemic came, it put a damper on all my hobbies and workshop binge plans. But here we are in recovery mode, ready to reunite with the creative gurus of Malaysia with the best classes and spaces.

I have curated a very personal list of art workshops, Malaysian art and craft classes, pottery workshops and many must-try workshops!

But before we get on to the list, we’ve got a special business that we think is best in this list!
