MyBurgerLab was inspired by restaurants such as ShakeShack (in the United States), In-N-Out (in Australia), GBK (in the United Kingdom), and others, as they concluded that Malaysia needs its own version as well. As a result, they started with a straightforward goal in mind. To sell a super excellent, juicy burger on a fresh bun at a really good price. In order to become one of the successful burger restaurants in the country, shortcuts aren’t the way.
It was on the 10th of July, 2012, when myBurgerLab opened its doors in Malaysia in SeaPark, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, and they were completely sold out on their first day of operation. A decade later, myBurgerLab has established itself as a cornerstone in the local fast-food sector, with five other locations across the Klang Valley – OUG (2013), Sunway (2014), Cyberjaya (2015), MyTown Cheras (2018) and then Bangsar (2019).
In the beginning, myBurgerLab was only open during dinner hours, but after receiving a large amount of positive feedback from customers, they decided to expand its hours. Now, Burger Lab can be found in almost all delivery apps and also have its own BurgerLab delivery! Just click the order online on their site and is good to go.
myBurgerLab also came up with their fascinating line which is;

1. Mushroom Fries
Breaded and deep-fried Portabella Mushroom Slices with bread crumbs. Served with a side of their in-house-made Red Sauce.
2. Nacho Libre
Sloppy Cheesy Joe, Jalapenos, Cheese Sauce, zesty Green Salsa and Sri Racha are served on crunchy corn chips with a dipping sauce of your choice. This dish is a fantastic appetiser to enjoy with any meal.

Ultraman, our boyhood superhero, served as inspiration for this unique burger. Using a Thai-style Fried Chicken Thigh, Home Made Salted Egg Yolk Sauce, Crisp Lettuce, Juicy Tomato, and just a touch of Curry Mayo, they’ve created a delicious dish.

Despite all these Burger Lab menus, they also served meatless option burgers for those who are vegetarian. Also, there are sides dishes like fries, mash potato and nachos. What is more interesting is, you could also build your own lab burgers (BYOLB) That’s why it is called the burger lab!
Is Burger Lab halal?
Concerns about halal concerns are one of the most important issues that need to be taken into consideration when it comes to the food and beverage sector in Malaysia, especially if the operators intend to serve people of all races and religions.
As noted in the post, myBurgerLab told consumers that they are Muslim-friendly, which means they don’t use pork, lard, or alcohol in the food preparation. Furthermore, all of their ingredients are sourced from halal-certified vendors. The buyer, however, appeared displeased with the response and instead asked for an invoice with a list of suppliers.
