The brand first opened their store in late 2018 and it is definitely one of the best bubble tea stores I’ve tried in Malaysia. Their wide selection of teas are amazing, from their charcoal tea to their rainbow signature tea, the choices are endless!
All their tea is brewed in house and their pearls are at the highest quality as well. By using premium ingredients they can maintain their high standards which will definitely attract more and more customers.
Their extensive menu not only comes with premium teas, but it also comes with many unique flavours and pearls! The different varieties of pearls match their long list of tea items, such as their dragon fruit pearls, rainbow pearls, and even their cherry blossom inspired sakura pearls.
Not many other bubble tea establishments go through the trouble of having different pearls, but ChaWanJia Tea Bubble Malaysia saw this as an opportunity and made the best out of it.

Great Service & Atmosphere
To add to the experience their staffs are super friendly, as they are always happy to explain their menu in detail and recommend drinks to your liking. The ambiance of the outlet is very cozy, and bright, therefore creating a very pleasant aura once you step foot into the establishment.
Specialty Drinks
Charcoal drink?!
My personal favourite is one of their signature drinks, “Black and White”. This drink is very unique as not many bubble tea establishments have this special ingredient in their drink. You must be wondering what the ingredient is and I think you will be very surprised once I tell you.
Here it goes, the special ingredient is … Charcoal powder! This is mixed in with their premium Oolong tea, which then turns the top half of the tea black. The bottom half of the tea is fresh milk and the two halves contrast each other so well that you just don’t want to touch and ruin it’s aesthetic.
The charcoal powder offers a lot of health benefits as it is able to flush out the toxins in your digestive system. As charcoal can’t be digested, the toxins will bind to it and when the charcoal is flushed out from your body, so are the toxins.
Spark your taste buds with Asam!
Another favourite of mine is the “Assam Black Milk Tea”. As Malaysians when we hear of Assam, we think of a tangy and sourish taste, however, when it comes to tea, you’re getting it all wrong. The leaves from the Assam plant creates one of the most unique tasting teas I’ve ever tried. It is truly profound and indescribable, but what I can say is that there is no sour taste whatsoever!
The tea has a very pleasant aroma and the taste is very strong, however, the creaminess of the milk helps to create a very satisfying taste with the strong tea. The pearls are cooked to perfection with brown sugar, which gives the tea extra sweetness when you bite into the pearls.
The “Assam Black Milk Tea” is a must-try for everybody, the unique taste and profound tea aroma will have you addicted to ChaWanJia Tea Bubble Malaysia, because I know I am.
Mixed in with all the factors, there is no reason why ChaWanJia Tea Bubble Malaysia should not have a long waiting line outside their restaurant every day. With their premium ingredients, high-quality service, cozy setting, and a wonderful overall experience, this bubble tea establishment is truly underrated and it deserves the love it needs!
