Its first global franchise was opened in Taiwan in 1979. Jollibee Malaysia’s first franchise was opened in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah back in 2018.

What to Order from Jollibee Menu?
My personal favourite is their Jolly Spaghetti. In Malaysia, it is rare for us to cook sweet sauce spaghetti and might think it’s quite weird. Jolly Spaghetti will surprise you. The sweetness feels right and tops up with the presence of melted cheese on the top. The spaghetti noodles are not mushy and were boiled just well enough for you to enjoy. The sauce also includes what I thought was minced beef but it was actually their minced hotdog. For a sweet tooth like mine, Jolly Spaghetti would never be wrong for your taste bud.
Another favourite is Chickenjoy. The chicken is served while it is still hot making it more crispy and juicy. It is well seasoned with their special secret recipe that makes even their chicken skin tastes scrumptious! The chicken size is also bigger than the average fast-food chicken which makes your money worth it. You can choose to have plain chicken or spicy chicken. Plain chicken has a bit salty taste if you cannot handle the spice. Head to the nearest Jollibee store to try it out!
