It’s Confirmed! GSC Confirms “Thor: Love and Thunder” Would Not Be Released in Malaysia

If you are a fan of Marvel Cinematic Studio (MCU), you probably have heard of this. Yes, the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok will officially not be aired in cinemas. The decision was made by Disney itself and has been confirmed by GSC that the long-awaited moment is now over. The movie was supposed to meet the fans on 7 July 2022 but later was given a new date which is on 21 July 2022.

After waiting for a few weeks, fans were disappointed with the news that the date had been changed for the second time and the status was TBA or “To Be Announced”. The waiting was finally over when GSC announced the movie’s status on Twitter.

Many fans expressed their disappointment through social media, but most are from Twitter users. We truly understand the hardships and excitement they have been through, only to be surprised with such news. Netizens began to speculate that this is an outcome of the decision from Malaysia’s film censorship board (LPF) that disapproved of the screening of another Disney movie, “Lightyear”. They said they did not make the decision, but it was by the distributors.
