2. Dining In The Dark
Afraid of the dark? Hopefully not because you won’t be able to try out this awesome unique restaurant.
The name says it all! Dining in pitch back darkness, you will have no idea what your food looks like, so your taste buds will be doing the talking!
The restaurant employs those with vision impairment to help guide patrons through this unique dining experience.
Now, because it’s all dark, the restaurant only reveals the menu or what you have eaten once you have finished. Which is why they suggest you let them know of any food restrictions or allergies you may have before they prepare your food.
Also, if you do not suffer from any food restrictions and are just picky, Dining In The Dark will open your eyes to new tastes with its concept, encouraging diners to experience the true taste and flavour of food. Your nose and tongue shall guide you…
It’s a surprise…
Because they change their menus often to keep the element of surprise for guests, we can’t really be able to tell you what you will have if you were to go there.
They will offer three sets:
- The Classic Menu at RM130+ per person
- The Vegetarian Menu at RM130+ per person
- And the Wine Pairing Menu at 189+ per person
Here is a sample menu to show how they keep you in the dark…

2D cafe
So this place looks kind of trippy. It feels like you are in a comic, a drawing.
Reminds us of the music video for Take On Me by A-HA.
This unique cafe specializes in bubble tea and only in bubble tea, which are served in bottles that look like they are drawings too.
The designs of the interior were all drawn by hand, and it took them 1.5 months.
But you can see the attention to detail in the pictures here.
It may look like a drawing, but it’s all real! Ok, well some of it is real, just watch your step.
