This hidden gem serves vegan Nyonya kuih and vegan dorayaki. Namul is tucked away up a wooden stairwell in the heart of Chinatown, which is brimming with lively, youthful energy. I like how it offers a fantastic combination of historical architecture and modern additions. This is a warm and inviting location where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of KL and unwind with a cup of cappuccino and some adorable foam art. We work hard all week, so some hearty brunch fare on the weekend is definitely in order. Kubis & Kale has a large assortment of greens to cater to the current fad for Hawaiian poke bowls. The new cafe promotes and celebrates better lives with a curated menu of healthy, simple and seasonal poke bowls that are great for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. Besides that, the protein components include maple tofu, faux crab cakes and chargrilled tofu adobo, and each bowl can be modified with a variety of toppings, appetizers, and vegan sauces like green apple hot sauce, pesto vinaigrette and so forth.

LN Fortunate
LN stands for ‘Loving Nature,’ and is a vegan restaurant that is entirely plant-based. This is one of the best vegan cafes in KL, and I like it. Waffles are typically made with flour, eggs, butter, and refined sugar, which are all unhealthy ingredients. Thankfully, LN Fortunate Coffee offers delicious, fluffy vegan waffles to Kuala Lumpur residents. The plant-based cafe thinks that healthy eating should be enjoyable, so try their apple berries or matcha waffles.

The origins of Real Food at Mont Kiara can be traced back to Singapore. Organic pancakes created with dense organic ingredients, soy milk, coconut oil, and self-raising flour are served at the Malaysian location, which caters to the vegan dessert scene in Kuala Lumpur. One of the flavours is their famous sweet pumpkin pancake, which is served with tropical fruits, agave syrup, and a dollop of vegan ice cream.

Loving Cafe
Loving Cafe is a perfect example of how old is gold. This cafe in PJ has been serving great vegan food in Sri Petaling since 2010. The cafe’s mission is to promote veganism as the future’s best food option. In the creation of their meals, the cafe employs organic vegetables and products. Aside from that, they don’t utilise any artificial additives in their food. Their in-house Sourdough Vegan Burgers recently won PETA’s Best Veggie Burger in Malaysia Award for 2021, so it’s worth a try!

Is there vegan Japanese food? Please sign us up! Not only is this the finest spot to unwind amidst the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur, but you can also enjoy some of the most popular Japanese rice dishes without ever worrying about accidentally swallowing fish sauce. Even though Japanese cuisine is notoriously difficult to imitate in a plant-based version, I must applaud Supe for making this a pleasurable experience.
